Avisford Park Hotel, Arundel

The hotel offers a stunning and well-presented room which made the occasion special, but the beds were slightly smaller than usual double beds. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The service provided by the staff is friendly, polite, and extremely helpful, although there were some issues that needed attention, like updating the decor outside. The location is fantastic for unwinding, with well-kept grounds and plenty to do onsite, although some areas show neglect. The dining experience was very good in terms of quality and price, but there were instances that raised concerns. The facilities are overall good with additional services like dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was ready by midday, which was convenient, but it was in need of refurbishment and quite warm throughout the day and night. There were several faults like a continually running toilet and loose doors on the hinges. The room size was disappointing for what was supposed to be a deluxe room, and the entrance door was hard to open and slammed shut.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were fairly spacious and accommodating all my requests, including a mini fridge and an extra key card when needed, although they were quite hot. The service was top-notch with smiley and helpful staff, even assisting with decorations and suggesting pre-ordering dinner. The location, though slightly outside Arundel, provided a lovely country house experience with amazing grounds and pools. The dining options were tasty with a good selection available. Overall, a great experience with a few minor hiccups.
